Kasargod, Feb 17: A container truck which hit a motorbike, caused the death of the biker. The accident happened near Chittari petrol bunk at 9 pm on Monday February 15.
The deceased Vinod (31), was the son of Balakrishnan from Pallikere Pudi Kadappura. The container, after hitting the bike, sped away. On the basis of information provided by the locals, the police took the lorry into custody from Poochakad.
Vinod was employed in the Gulf region. He was unmarried and had come home a month back. The police are investigating the case.
