Bengaluru: CM inaugurates Idigara Bhavan in Shivamogga

Bengaluru, Feb 17: Chief mnister B S Yediyurappa on Wednesday inaugurated the Idigara Bhavan in Shivamogga.

The Shivamogga Arya Idiga community has taken up the construction of the community hall for the Idiga community in the district.

Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister K S Eshwarappa, former minister Kagodu Thimmappa, Shivamogga BJP MP B Y Raghavendra, Congress leader and MLC B K Hariprasad, MLA Hartalu Halappa, former MLA Beluru Gopalakrishna and Shivamogga Arya Idiga community President R Shridhar Hullikoppa were among the dignitaries who participated in the function.



Earlier, the chief minister paid homage to former governor and chief justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice M Rama Jois who passed away on Monday by garlanding his portrait.

Yediyurappa laid the foundation stone for the construction of Machenahalli Industries Association’s Silver Jubilee Building at Bhadravathy.

Rural Development and Panchayat Raj minister K S Eshwarappa, who is also the district in-charge minister for Shivamogga, B Y Raghavendra, MP, MLA B K Sangamesh, MLCs Rudregowda and Bharati Shetty attended the function.
