Mangaluru, Feb 18: The Bharathiar University of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, awarded a PhD in Commerce to Swathi Bhat P, lecturer in the Commerce department of St Aloysius Evening College, here.
She received her PhD on the thesis, 'Investor's Perception on Mutual Funds with Special Reference to Mangalore City, Karnataka'.
Her doctoral work was under the guidance of Dr M Dhanabhakyam, professor and dean in the Commerce department of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
Swathi Bhat is the wife of Veerendra Prabhu and daughter of Sathyananda Bhat P and Sandhya S Bhat.
