Mangaluru: Snehalaya successfully reunites missing lady from Tamil Nadu with family

Mangaluru, Feb 19: On October 10, 2019, A young mentally ill lady named Sridevi was brought to Snehalay on October 10, 2019 by the Kumbla police station. She was found in Kasaragod district in a devastating condition.

At Snehalaya, under the direction of Joseph Crasta who changed her persona, she responded well to care and medical treatment. She was provided with basic needs, care, counselling and timely food.

She began to take part in sports, yoga and daily activities and was trained in tailoring.

Sridevi hails from Kudloor V C Chavadi, Tamil Nadu. On finding the address, the family rushed to embrace the lady and take her into their family. Their hugs showered tears and silent words.

They expressed their agony upon this missing daughter who was now found alive and cured.

The family thanked Snehalaya and its team.

Sridevi is successfully reunited with her family after one and a half years.
