Bantwal, Feb 20: The birth anniversary of famous poet of yesteryears, Sarvajnya was observed at Mini Vidhan Saudha here.

Deputy tahsildar Rajesh Naik inaugurated the programme and said that the poet has taken society on the right path. We should inculcate his teachings in our lives, he said.

State Kulal Kumbara Mahila Sangha president Bhrathi Sheshappa said that the poet has corrected the deviations in the society.

Municipal councilor Sunder B, Samaja Seva Sahakari bank vice president Padmanabha Vitla, Kulala Kumbarara Yuva Vedike honorary president Sukumar Bantwal, secretary Puneeth S, Mairan Pade, national festivals celebrations committee organizer Vishu Kumar, Taluk office staff, village accountant, village assistants were present. Janardhan Bantwal welcomed. Administration branch’s Seetarama Kammaje rendered a vote of thanks.
