Kasargod: UP CM Yogi to address in 'Vijay Yatra' in poll-bound Kerala on Sunday

Kasargod, Feb 21: Uttar Pradesh (UP) chief minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath will be in Kasargod, Kerala today to flag off BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra' led by party state president K Surendran.

Prominent BJP leaders from Karanataka and Kerala will be attending the programme which will commence at 3 pm.

According to party sources, the Parivartan Yatra will culminate on March 7 in Thiruvananthapuram, BJP leader Amit Shah would like to address this yatra.

Police have deployed tight security in the venue and in the district to prevent any sorts of untoward incidents. The programme will be held at Talipadpu ground. Traffic police have taken strict measures to control the traffic, vehicular movements diverted, the commuters who travel from Mangaluru to Kasargod or Kannur should travel via Kumbla, Seetangoli, Uliyatadka, Udayagiri and Vidyanagar. Vehicles travelling to Kumbla and Mangaluru should travel via Vidyanagar, Uliyatadka, Udayagiri and Vidyanagar. Medium vehicle travelling from Kumbla to Mogral Puttur should travel through Chowki, Uliyatadka, and Vidyanagar to reach Kasargod.
