I Don’t Trust Politicos: Santosh Hegde

Bangalore, Jul 2 (DHNS): Accusing politicians of misusing power, Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde on Thursday said he would never share dais with them.

“I don't trust politicians and would never share a dais with them. They have done absolutely nothing to eradicate corruption; rather they are responsible for such a horrible situation."

Addressing the 27th installation ceremony of the Rotary Club of Bangalore Cantonment, Justice Hegde felt a stigma like corruption, which has grown unmitigated after Independence, cannot be eradicated fully but can be contained to some extent.
He added that the next generation will have to take the mantle in this regard.

"As of now, I have visited more than 160 institutions, trying to inculcate moral values among the students. There is nothing wrong in earning more money than required. But earn it legitimately and show the source." Justice Hegde honoured Dinesh Nehete, newly-elected president of the Rotary Club Bangalore Cantonment, on the occasion.

A non-doer is very often a critic-that is, someone who sits back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically about how the doers are doing. It's easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk, and change. Good going Mr. Hegde, we all young educated will support you in the future days to come.
