Mangaluru: IT department holds discussions on VSVS Scheme with CAs

Mangaluru, Feb 22: The Income Tax Department on February 19 organised a joint meeting of the Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Bengaluru with the chartered accountants of Mangaluru on Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme (VSVS).

D Sudhakara Rao, IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), Bengaluru interacted with the chartered accountants of Mangaluru and sought wholehearted support of the CA’s and assessees for the success of the VSVS Scheme. CA S S Nayak, chairman and CA K S Kamath, vice-chairman, from the Mangaluru branch of ICAI felicitated D Sudhakara Rao and conveyed that the CA fraternity is always working towards making a tax-compliant society.

Sumer Singh Meena, IRS, additional commissioner of Income Tax; Ashish Shukla, ACIT, (HQ), Exemptions Bengaluru; Sudheendra Kumar, DCIT (Exemptions), Mangaluru and senior Chartered Accountants of Mangaluru were present.
