Ballari: 'Not opposed to Sriramulu becoming district in-charge' - Anand Singh

Ballari, Feb 24: In response to suggestions being made to make Sriramulu the district in-charge minister for Ballari, current incumbent, Anand Singh, said that he is not averse to making Sriramulu the in-charge minister for the district.

Speaking to media persons after the Karnataka Development Council meeting at the zilla panchayat here on Tuesday, he said that if a change is proposed, then let the post be given to B Sriramulu. Instead of him, others not having any knowledge about the district should not be made in-charge minister, he commented.

He said that G Somashekar Reddy's demand to make Sriramulu the in-charge minister for the district was half-hearted. He said it is OK if Sriramulu is made in-charge. Instead, it should be given to someone else,he recalled. He said that Reddy also said he will handle it if this ministry is given to him. He can become in-charge after he becomes minister in 2023, he said.
