Kalaburagi: SBI officer's wife ends life with son

Kalaburagi, Mar 12: In a sad incident which happened in Amaravathi Apartment at Om Nagar here on Thursday March 11, a woman hanged heself along with her nine-year-old son to death. The deceased have been identified as Suchitra (34) and Vinuth (9). On the basis of complaint filed by Suchitra's parents, the police have arrested Suchitra's husband, Jagadish Kamble.

Jagadish is a native of Mudhol, Bagalkot district while Suchitra was from Belagavi. They married 11 years back. For the last four years, Jagadish was posted at Kalagi branch of the State Bank of India as assistant manager.

It is gathered that Vinuth could not speak and was dull in learning new activities. On this issue, the couple fought often, as Jagadish believed that his wife was responible for delivering a baby that was imperfect. Because of the misunderstanding, Suchitra stayed with her parents for several years and also approached the court. A few months back, Jagadish offered to end the litigation through conciliation and brought his wife and son back home.

Suchitra's parents have said that Jagadish's illicit relationsip was the cause for the two deaths. They said that Suchitra knew that Jagadish had relationship with another woman.
