Bengaluru, Mar 12: Even as the state government has decided to undertake investigation through special investigation team (SIT) into the fake CD scandal that has claimed the scalp of minister, Ramesh Jarkiholi, Jarkiholi brothers have reportedly been getting the investigation conducted through a Mumbai-based private agency.

The government has appointed a special investigating team (SIT) to probe the incident. However, without an official complaint, full scale investigation is not possible. It is said that Ramesh Jarkiholi has come forward to file the complaint to help the SIT do its job. As per information, he has decided to provide names of those who played lead role in the scandal on the basis of the information he has received. He is collecting documentary evidences against some influential persons before naming them in the complaint, sources stated.

The private investigation agency has begun its work. Reportely, it has already put together the telephonic contact established by the concerned during the last one year. As per report, about 6,000 call records were available. It is said that Jarkiholi got information that the entire CD is fake and therefore he faced the media without any hesitation.

There is suspicion that morphing was involved and scenes were added to the CD. But without an official complaint, the forensic science laboratory cannot test the CD. Therefore, Jarkiholi plans to provide all the information to the SIT after putting together the records and filing an official complaint.
