Mumbai, May 1: A six-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 21 year pharmacy student at Jogeshwari on Thursday, April 29. Several residents gathered at Oshiwara police station after the incident.
The victim's family reportedly lived on the upper floor of the house owned by the family of the accused. Her mother found the child to be bleeding from her private parts on Thursday.
The accused was absconding. Shiv Sena corporator Rajul Patel said that three hours later, he was found at the office of a political party worker.
