Bangalore: Latin- Kannada Dictionary Released

Bangalore, Aug 9: The rare Latin-Kannada dictionary, originally composed by Msgr Etienne Louis Charbonnaux in 1861 has been reprinted and released by All Karnataka Catholic Christian Kannada Sangha at Kannada Bhavan, J C Road, here on Sunday August 8.

Senior minister Ramchandregowda released the dictionary. Fr Chasara delivered the introductory note. Sri Murugharajendra Sharana of Chitradurga Murugha Mutt spoke on unity in diversity.

P C Mohan, Dr Siddhalingaiah, Fr C Francis, Fr A Thomas, J R Pereira, Fr Dr Antappa, Dr K V Narayana, Dr Angadevaru, Fr Arulappa, Dr Asavaradhya, Mariejoseph and Stevenson D’Sa among others were present on the occasion.
