Kundapur: VHP, Bajrang Dal hold blood donation camp

Kundapur, May 6: “Blood donation is a sacred deed. Blood donation has got a rich history. Blood is like Red Gold. Everyone should have the mentality of donating blood. Blood donation is more important in the present situation,” opined Chandrashekhar Shetty Kerady, president of management committee of Kollur Sri Mookambika temple.

Chandrashekhar was speaking after inaugurating the blood camp which was organized at Kollur Sri Mookambika auditorium under the joint auspices of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bajrang Dal Byndoor, gram panchayat Kolur and Sri Mookambika temple.

Santhosh Bhat, president, gram panchayat Kollur, Deepak Kumar Shetty, president Byndoor legislative constituency, Jayananda Hobalidar, member, Kollur temple management committee, Sandhya Ramesh, Srinivas Maddur, convener, Byndoor Bajrang Dal taluk, Harish Shetty, vice president Kollur gram panchayat, Prasanna Sharma, member Kollur gram panchayat, Naga Dali, Nasir Hussain, Kollur station officer and Veerendra Guptal, Red Cross, were present.

Jagadish Kollur welcomed the gathering and compered the event.
