Covid: Gathering details of passengers arriving from Bengaluru to Bantwal begins

Bantwal, May 10: The work of collecting details of train passengers arriving from Bengaluru and alighting at Bantwal railway station has begun. The action is being taken in view of increasing cases of Covid-19.

“More than 60 passengers arrive daily from Bengaluru to Bantwal. The passengers have been asked to provide their phone numbers and addresses to the respective PDO’s of their villages. The passengers are directed to remain under quarantine as per rules,” said Bantwal tahsildar Rashmi SR.
