Bengaluru, Jun 15: Even as BJP state-in-charge, Arun Singh's visit to the state draws nearer, dissident activities as well as pro-chief minister camps are experienced frenzied activity. A team of dissidents has urged Arun Singh to gather individual opinions of legislators on the said issue rather than pooling them in an open meeting.

MLA Arvind Bellad, who is representing the team of legislators that is aggrieved, met Singh at New Delhi in this connection. It is learnt that he asked Singh to meet legislators individually and then convey the outcome the feedback he got to national leaders.

Arvind Bellad had visited New Delhi three days back in the guise of taking part in a private function. He met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leaders and BJP national chief organizing secretaryB L Santhosh, and held talks with him on the current situation in the state.

However, it is reliably learnt that Arun Singh will hold meeting with state ministers where he will get information about the steps taken by them to regulate spread of the pandemic. He might convey to them the message to be in readiness if a decision to rejig the cabinet is taken. On June 18, BJP state unit core committee meeting is scheduled. Even though many of the legislators had requested Singh to instruct the chief minister to convene legislature party meeting, the chances of convening such a meeting are remote.
