Kundapur: Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf donates steam, face shield

Kundapur, Jun 15: Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf on Monday June 14 distributed two steam kits to each police station and face shields to journalists of Udupi districts.

The kits were handed over to DySP SP Shrikanth at Gangolli police station.

Speaking during the occasion DySP said, "Each citizen's role in containing Covid-19 is very important. Covid-19 is under control because of the efforts of the district administration, police department and other departments. Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf for several years is responding to the problems of people and Kundapura Kannadigas working abroad.

He also thanked the people for cooperating with the police department during the pandemic.

Sudhakar Shetty Huntkari of Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf said, "Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf is working as the voice of Kannadigas. Last year, Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf responded to the problem of ASHA workers. Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf responded to the problems in education and society. Hence, this time Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf has come forward to help police departments who were working day and night to contain the pandemic."

Byndoor Circle inspector Santhosh Kaikini, Gangolli SI Nanja Naik, Namma Kundapura Balaga Gulf's Sheena Devadiga Trasi, Vasudeva Devadiga Byndoor, Prakash Naik Koni, Gujjadi gram panchayat president Thammaiah Devadiga, Nagaraj Devadiga Padukone and others were present.

Journalist Arun Kumar Shirooru welcomed the gathering.
