Puttur, Jul 17: A gentleman from Nellyadi and his wife breathed their last on the same day. The deceased happen to be Varghese P V (74) from Punnath Nath near Kokkada, and his wife, Mary 'Varghese (73),
On June 25, the two had suffered from fever. They had got treated for the same and the fever was cured. On July 4, they again suffered from fever coupled with breathing problems. They were therefore admitted into a hospital in Mangaluru.
On Thursday afternoon, Mary breathed her last while her husband passed away at about 7 pm the same day. The couple has left behind two sons and two daughters.
