Udupi: Prohibitory orders imposed by DC around SSLC exam centres

Udupi, Jul 17: Karnataka secondary education examination board will be holding SSLC examinations in the state on July 19 and July 22. Examinations will be held at 77 examination centres in the district.

Deputy commissioner (DC) G Jagadeesha has declared the areas in the radius of 200 meters from the examination centres as prohibited areas under section 144(1) on the days of examinations so that examinations can be conducted smoothly without impediments preventing malpractices and the miscreants may not malign the examination centre premises.

Photocopy shops in the radius of 200 metres from the examination centres have been directed to be closed from 8 am to 6 pm on the days of the examinations.
