Kadaba: Simon CA takes over as ACB western range SP

Kadaba, Aug 3: Simon CA took over charge as the new superintendent of police (SP) of western range Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday August 2. The western range of ACB has jurisdiction over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru and Uttara Kannada districts.

Simon is a native of Kadaba and his family is now settled in Uppinangady. He is a law graduate and had joined the criminal investigation department as a police sub-inspector in 2001. He had been awarded the chief minister's gold medal in 2011 in recognition of meritorious service in the department. His father C C Abraham, had retired as a sub-inspector in the state police department.
