Kasargod, Aug 4: In an accident which happened between a motorbike and scooter on the evening of Monday August 2, the scooter rider lost his life. The accident happened at Mayippady on Seetangoli-Kasargod road.
The deceased was Anil Kkuymar (56) from Kumble Kanchikatte. He was an inverter distributor having his shop at Kumble. He was moving in his scooter to Kumble from Kasargod in his scooter when his vehicle collided with a motorbike. Anil, who suffered grave injuries, was admitted into hospital but his life could not be saved.
Post-mortem was performed at Kasargod general hospital before the body was released to relatives. A case in this regard was registered in Kumble police station.
