Udupi, Sep 23: Dr Mamatha K V has been appointed as chairman for the Board of Studies in Ayurveda (UG) by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka, Bengaluru recently.
At present Dr Mamatha is the principal of SDM College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Udupi.
Dr Mamatha K V holds a BAMS degree and gold medalist from an Ayurvedic institute, Hubballi, a postgraduate degree in obstetrics and gynecology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and PhD from the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur.

The team will be working for the period of next three years.
