Bantwal: Surveyor accepts bribe, lands in ACB's net

Bantwal, Oct 8: Sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a surveyor from the Survey department here for accepting bribe from a woman to identify the border of the land.

ACB sleuths arrested surveyor Suresh while he was accepting Rs 6,000 bribe in the Survey department at Mini Vidhana Soudha in BC Road from the woman.

Prema Saritha Pinto of Kalige had filed application for the survey of border on her land. As the surveyor demanded for Rs 7,000 bribe from her, she had filed a complaint with the ACB.
 
The accused was arrested under the guidance of Western Range ACB SP Simon, DySP KC Prakash, inspector Gururaj and Sham Sundar and others.
