IT Raids on Reddy Brothers' Associates

Bangalore, Oct 25 (IANS): Income tax officials Monday raided the office of Karnataka Health Minister B. Sriramulu, a confidant of the Reddy brothers, the residence of an advocate and the houses of a few Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators in Karnataka, officials said.

"We are conducting raids in Bangalore, Bellary and Hospet. It is a search operation," a spokesperson of the IT department told IANS here. No further details were available.

Bellary is the political stronghold of the Reddy brothers - Tourism Minister G. Janardhana Reddy and his elder brother and Revenue Minister G. Karunakara Reddy.

The Reddys are rich iron ore miners. Sriramulu is considered by them to be a part of their family. Hospet is near Bellary. Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa said he had no information about the raids. "I have no information on it and will not comment," he said in Haveri in north Karnataka.

The BJP legislators whose residences were raided are Suresh Babu and B. Nagendra, both said to be close to the Reddys. Former union minister and Karnataka government's special representative in New Delhi, V. Dhananjaya Kumar, termed the raids a "political conspiracy" to destabilize the BJP ministry in the state.

If tomorrow Reddy brothers support Congress, there need not be any surprise.Congress is desperate for trying to woo the Reddy brothers by threatening them of IT raids. Why the government do not anything about the raids, one can understand there is negotiation going on between the Congress to try & make them withdraw suport to BJP government ,else they will be brought to justice.Congress is trying shower all the accumulated accusations on opposition , which was just reserved for the elections. They do not concentrate now on the 0000's of crore misused funds.Instead their all out effort is to de fame all opposition members , there by fool the public to gain power back in the states were elections are in progress.

Why the Congress waking up only during some elections, now since the Bihar elections are ongoing, CWG mess is publicised,Congress wants all their truth of looting hidden are distarcting people from the issues & defame the opposition same time.Cwg main culprits are left scott free .For manipulating their records, they are continued in power when the enquiry is ordered, how the cvc can find some records if the culprit is in the office & allowed to hide all the documents partaining to the issues.Congress is power hungry, just to hang on to power they reserve all these issues for the election time,& come up with all to divert the people for their mileage.Reject them,do not give them chance.

Problem is they will stop with BJP and will not touch congress and DMK crocodiles who have swindled in billions. They will not touch Gowdas who took the BJP rebel MLAs for pilgrimage after paying in crores. Also Sharad Pawar %26 co., Sheila Dixit and Kalmadi. CBI and IT are tools to be used against opposition parties

Why is the Income Tax Dept. swift in raiding the non-Congress people. Why are they not raiding all those who are connected with the CWG? Centre is using the entire govt. machinery to bring down the elected govt. of Karnataka. People of India should wake up and give a fitting reply to the Congress in all the elections so that they are out of power for the next 100 years. Dr. Manmohan Singh' govt. has gone to such a low level to bring down the oppoition ruled states? Shame on him to still continue as PM and bow to the Gandhi family.Shame on Italy's Family and Chamchas of Congress. Why no one raided the Resort of JD s MLA S are staying??
