Mangaluru: ICYM Valencia unit organises Talent Utsav

Mangaluru, Nov 1: On account of Children’s Day, ICYM Valencia unit organized different competitions for the children of LKG to 10th Std on October 31, 2021 at 3.30pm in the church hall.

The competitions organized were :

3yrs to 6yrs - Baby Show for 3 years to 6 years age group. Singing and Dance under two categories - 1st Std to 4th Std and 5th Std to 7th Std. Collage making and Face painting was organized for 8th to 10 Std students.

ICYM Unit president Gloria Menezes welcomed the gathering. Fr Roque, parish priest in his speech said, "Its important we encourage our children with such competitions as it brings out their talent and also builds their confidence and personality". He wished all the best to all the participants, welcomed the judges and the episcopal city varado president Sanjay Dsouza Bendur, secretary Teena Pashao Jeppu.

The judges for the competition were Samantha Dsouza Bendur and Amanda June Lasrado Bendur.

The kids of the parish actively participated in the competitions.
