Mumbai: Skanda Shashti festival celebrated at Chembur Subrahmanya math

Mumbai, Dec 9: The annual Skanda Shashti festival was celebrated at Subrahmanya math, Chedda Nagar, Chembur on December 9 with the traditional fervor. Religious rituals were held in the guidance and blessings of Vidyaprasanna Theertha Swamy of Subrahmanya math.

Priests Gururaj Bhat, Sridhar Bhat, Sriprasad Bhat and co priests offered various poojas in the leadership of Krishnaraja Upadhyaya.

Special poojas were held three days prior to the festival as preparations. Vishnu Karanth of math has said that Maha poojas will be held in the morning on December 10.
