Mumbai, Dec 10: Vanita S Shriyan (82), wife of former president of Devadiga Sangha S K Shriyan passed away at Reliance hospital, Ghansoli, here on December 10 after a brief illness.

She hailed from Mangaluru and was residing at Cherry's City of Joy apartment, Mulund, Mumbai. She has left behind two sons, two daughters and a large number of friends and relatives.

Former Karnataka chief minister M Veerappa Moily, Ekanatheshwari temple trust Barkur president Annayya Sherigar, trustee member Narayana M Devadiga Dubai, former president Dharmapal U Devadiga, Devadiga Sangha Udupi president Ratnaker Devadiga, office bearers and members of various organizations have condoled the death of Vanita.
