Karkala, Dec 17: Minister for Energy, Kannada and Culture V Sunil Kumar, on Saturday December 18, distributed Rs 1 lac cheque as compensation to 38 BPL families whose members died due to Covid-19 in Karkala and Hebri taluks.

Tahsildar Purandar K presented the keynote address.

Taluk panchayat EO Gurudat was present on the stage.

Ravichandra compered the programme.
