Udupi: Hijab petitioner Aliya Asadi expresses faith in high court verdict

Udupi, Feb 9: "We have complete faith that the judge will uphold the Constitution," said Aliya Asadi, one of the six students who protest for their right to Hijab in Government Women's PU College.

Speaking to reporters regarding the petition on Hijab having been referred to the CJ bench of the high court on Wednesday, February 9, she expressed total confidence in the judge.

"We are just demanding our constitutional right. How long should we fight for our constitutional rights. We are expecting a positive verdict from the high court said Aliya Asadi who has filed the writ petition in the court.
