Media Release

Mangaluru, Feb 10: The fifth day of St Antony's Novena was held at St Anthony’s Ashram, Jeppu. Fr Franics D’Souza, spiritual director of St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu offered the Holy Mass and preached the homily.

Fr D’Souza said that there are millions of people who are shelterless today. And their number has increased during the past two years due to Covid 19. "Jesus Christ, the Son of God came into this world shelterless. He was born in a manger as Joseph and Mary didn’t find a place for His birth. Hence He knows the difficulties the shelter less undergo."

Fr D’Souza called upon the congregation to pray for the large hearted people so that they come forward and help out the shelterless that they too get their basic need met.

Fr Onil D’Souza, director of the Institutes conducted the Novena. The choir group from Milagres Church sang the hymns and enriched the beauty of the Novena.
