Mangaluru, Feb 11: Fr Joswin Sequeira, assistant parish priest of Cordel Church offered the Holy Mass and preached the homily on the sixth day of the novena.
Fr Sequeira in his homily mentioned the incidents where Jesus healed the sick. St Anthony in whose honour this novena is being held also preached the kingdom of God and healed many people in the name of Jesus. He then called on the devotees to ask Jesus to heal all those who are suffering from illness.
Fr Larry Pinto, assistant director conducted the novena. The choir group from Valencia Church assisted the congregation in singing.
