Hebri, Feb 23: Jisan, a tenth standard student from Kukkudakatte in Bommarabettu village in the taluk hanged himself from the roof beam of his house on Monday February 21.

The boy was a Kannada medium student. From the very beginning, he rarely mingled with the other students and preferred to stay alone. He was not attending his school properly for a week and spent most of the time at his home.

The boy attended the school on February 19. On February 21 he had an examination and the student's mother had questioned him about not appearing for the examination. She later left home on work while the boy stayed back at home.

When the mother returned home in the evening from work, she saw that Jisan had hanged himself with the help of a rope hung from the roof beam. In a complaint filed in Hiriadka police station, the mother said that the boy would have ended his life either out of fear or examinations or some other personal reasons.
