Mangaluru: HC permits Yakshagana performance in court complex

Mangaluru, Mar 7: The state high court (HC) has granted permission to organize Yakshagana performance in the district court premises in the city.

The Bar Council here has planned to organize Yakshagana performance by Pavanje Mela on March 11 in the court premises. It had approached the high court seeking permission. The high court has permitted the same through its letter dated March 3.

The high court said that Yakshagana performance can be held from 6 pm to 10 pm and that during the programme, the court premises should be kept clean. It also said that public properties in the court premises should not be damaged and undesirable behaviour should not be allowed.
