Udupi, Mar 9: International Women’s Day was celebrated by the Tanishq Jewerly Udupi on Tuesday March 8 at Manipal Inn, Udupi. Sujatha Andrade, actor, photographer, Dr Shruthi Ballal, Komal Jennifer Dsouza renowned Compare of the costal Karnataka, Tanuja Maben, trainer were the chief guest of the evening. The celebrations were made double as the guest of the evening along with the other ladies of the event joins the hands together to cut the cake.
Dr Shruthi Ballal in her message said a women play many roles. At the same time they are facing the different health issues. On the occasion she given some inputs on health tips for women.
Sujatha Andrade speaking on the occasion expressed some of the hidden talents of women. "If a women is proper in a family then entire family goes in a proper channel. Today’s life style in family life has changed drastically. We have seen in many occasions within a couple of months of marriage, couple will apply for the divorce case. In other cases the family who stayed together more than 20 year as well are not behind from the list. Today both wife and husband working full day, but at the end only women enter the kitchen and do her daily works. As she is calm and can bear all pressure independently as she is capable of doing so," she said.
Komal Dsouza in her address said that at the age of 27 doing PhD, compering in the events and does many more activities throughout the day, but not a single day her mother said no rather supported her in all the works. "When you do so much for others let us remember to do something for ourself as well," she said.
"Let every woman be an inspiration, support each other, be the voice for each other. The success of every woman should be an inspiration to another. We are the strongest when we cheer each other on. Apart from woman supporting another woman, she needs constant encouragement from the men in her life as well. Be it as a husband, a father or a brother, your wife, daughter or sister needs you to be with her. She needs you tell her that you'll have her back no matter what. She needs to hear that you'll be there for her at all times, said by Komal.

During the celebrations Sachin - Area Business manager, Maxim Saldhana, Gretta Saldhana, Tanishq Store Associates were present on the occasion.
