Higher education minister meets returned students from Ukraine

Bengaluru, Mar 9: Higher Education Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan, who also represents Malleswaram legislative assembly constituency, met four students who have come back safely from war-torn Ukraine, on Wednesday.

Students Ishwarya, Divyasri, Latasri and Nandita, who are residents of the Malleswaram constituency, were pursuing medical education in Ukraine.

They have now returned safely through the ‘Operation Ganga’ operation by the Union Government.

The parents of the students were also present when the Minister met them.

Having got apprised of the present situation in Ukraine by the students, the Minister said he would make all efforts to make alternative arrangements for facilitating continuance of education of the students who have come back.
