Udupi, Mar 9: As part of the renovation  of Jayadurgaparameshwari Temple in Kannarpardy, Ashtabandha Brahmakumbabhisheka, Kumkumarchana, nava chandika yaga and various other religious rituals will be held with all grandeur for eight days from April 2 to 10. 

The rituals will be headed by  Puttur  Shreesha Thanthri, said treasurer of the committee, Krishnamurthy Acharya at the Press Club here on Wednesday, March 8.

He said, "The renovation works of the temple including Theertha Mantapa, Suttu Pauli, Agrasabhe, Bayalu Mantapa have almost been completed. Mass prayer, Thorana Muhurtha will be held on April 2 and Ashtabandha, Ashlesha Bali on April 3, Homa and other religious programmes are scheduled for the remaining days."

Gururaj Upadhyaya, president, Kannarpady Jayadurgaparameshwari Temple,  Ramesh Shetty, president, Kannarpady gram panchayat, Narayan, former member, temple committee, Nagesh Bhat, Dinesh Bhat and others were present.
