Kasargod: Accident near Melparamba causes two deaths

Kasargod, Mar 10: Two young men died in an accident which happened at Kalnad Pete on the night of Wednesday March 9. The spot where the accident occurred is located within the limits of Melparamba police station. Both those who died were travelling by motorbike.

The deceased were N A Prajeesh (21) from Periya Naduvettupara and Anil (24), a resident of C H Nagar, Pallikere. The accident happened when a tempo carrying a load of fish towards Kanhangad from the direction of Kasargod hit a motorbike carrying the above two at around 10 pm. Anil, who suffered critical injuries, died on the spot. Prajeesh breathed his last in Kasargod hospital.

It is learnt that Anil was a roofing worker while Prajeesh was a worker involved with painting. Melparamba police have registered a case.
