Udupi: BJP workers celebrate victory in five-state elections

Udupi, Mar 10: The workers of BJP distributed sweets and burst crackers in celebration of the apparent victory of the party in four states on Thursday, March 10.

The counting is in progress in Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Punjab, Uttarkhand and manipur today.

Speaking on the occasion, BJP district president Suresh Kuyiladi said, “As expected BJP has exceeded the required majority of seats in four states and will be forming the government. People have supported development and Hindutva. They have opposed the family politics of opposition parties. This is the best result. This will be the keynote for the next elections. BJP will regain power once again. This was possible due to world leadership. The spirit of workers is further increased.”

BJP leaders Yashpal Suvarna, Suresh Shetty Gurme, Veena Shetty, Mattaru Ratnakara Hegde. Rashmitha Balakrishna and Sadananda Uppinakudru were present.
