Udupi: Manohar Kalmady becomes UUDA chairman

Udupi, Mar 11: Manohar S Kalmady has been appointed by the state government as the chairman of Udupi Urban Development Authority (UUDA).

Kalmady has served BJP in different capacities and currently is the district general secretary of the party. He has been brught in place of K Raghavendra Kini, who had resigned sometime back as UUDA chairman to pave way for new appointment.

MLA K Raghupati Bhat has congratulated Kalmady on his new appointment.

Praveen Kumar Shetty, Kishore Kumar, Suma Naik and Yogeesh Chandra have been made members of the authority.
