Kasargod: Man accused of 200 thefts held after two decades

Kasargod, Mar 11: Madikeri Ibrahim, a resident of Madikeri, who was facing the allegation of being involved in over 200 thefts over several years, stands arrested after a gap of 20 years. Kasargod police arrested him from Wayanad.

There are 13 warrant cases against Madikeri Ibrahim in Kasargod town police station alone. Over 200 cases of thefts have been registered against him in Kasargod, Kannur and Kozhikode districts. The police said that most of the cases he faces relate to the theft of vehicles which he used to take to Karnataka and sell them. Out of the money so earned, he used to live a lavish life.
