Udupi: Vehicular movement restricted on Agumbe Ghats till Mar 15

Udupi, Mar 11:  The vehicular movement has been restricted on Agumbe Ghats following a road repair work from 33 to 51.60 km of National Highway 169. 
The work is in progress from  March 5 and is expected to go on till March 15 from morning 7 AM to evening 7 PM.

The order copy from deputy commissioner Kurma Rao also suggested that commuters should use alternative roads.

Alternative roads have been suggested in the communique. The light vehicles may use Udupi-Karkala-Mala-Sringeri, Koppa, Thirthahalli route whereas the heavy motor vehicles are advised to ply on Udupi-Kundapur-Siddapura-Hosangadi-Mastikatte-Thirthahalli route.
