Brahmavar: Man falls into rivulet, passes away

Brahmavar, Mar 22: Raymond D'Almeida (53) from Imraguli in Cherkady village in the taluk lost his life after losing his balance and falling into a rivulet on Monday March 21.

Almeida used to work as a coolie. He was heavily addicted to liquor and because of this problem, he was staying away from his family for the last 15 years.

On Sunday, either because of a liquor overdose or accidentally, he slipped and fell into Madi rivulet here and drowned.

A case in this regard was filed in Brahmavar police station.
