Shivamogga, Mar 22: The video of the students of a private school here performing namaz inside the school premises had recently become viral in the wake of mounting communal tensions following the murder of a Hindu activist.

Taking serious view of this, the school management has placed headmistress of the school, Zabina Parveen, under suspension.

The incident had happened in Vidyaniketan school in Gopala Gowda extension in the city. People of the area have claimed that namaz by the students is allowed in this school every day. It is said that separate room was provided for this purpose in the school premises.

    Did I hear right?Every day Namaz inschool is allowed and seperate room?Are they coming to school to practice religious rights or learn education ?Not allowed .any school or institution.Here too some students started this type in Uni.But were not allowed and prohibited.Simply making problems where not there.There is time to do private but not in schools.Then must all religions should be allowed.and it will end on only religious programm but not school.Religion is private aspect.Not bind everyone.
