Udupi, Mar 23: Sunil K (28), a resident of Kukkikatte here, who was an auto rickshaw driver, consumed rat poison at his home on March 15 out of frustration he developed about his life as he was facing extreme financial complications. Hide had fallen very ill thereafter, and he had been admitted into the government hospital at Ajjarkad here.
He was being treated in the intensive care unit of the hospital. But the efforts made to save his life failed and he breathed his last on Tuesday March 22.
A case in this regard was filed in the town police station here.
