Byndoor: Woman accidentally slips, drowns in rivulet

Byndoor, Mar 24: Kasturi Devadiga (58) slipped and fell into Sumanavathi rivulet at Sannabeskoor in Paduvari village near Uppunda on Wednesday March 23.

Kasturi had visited the agricultural field to collect green fodder for her cattle. When she was returning with a bundle of green grass on her head, she saw that two cattle were fighting with each other on the road located adjacent to the rivulet. Kasturi went to the extreme edge of the road to avoid getting hurt. But accidentally she slipped, fell into the rivulet, and could not come out.

Her body was recovered with the help of locals. Byndoor police visited the spot, collected details and registered a case.
