Bengaluru, Mar 25: Education minister B C Nagesh stated that no concession will be given to students who wear Hijab and enter the SSLC examination halls. Karnataka high court recently upheld the uniform dress code order that was passed by the state government. Nagesh said that all the students who wish to write the examinations have to follow the rules compulsorily.
Nagesh said that the students have to accept their mistake and appear for the examination without the Hijab. “At least write the supplementary exams that are conducted by the board. There will not be permission to wear Hijab in supplementary examinations also,” he said.
