Govt to observe Jagadguru Renukacharhya Jayanti on March 16 annually

Bengaluru, Mar 25: The Basavaraj Bommai government has decided to observe Jagadguru Renukacharya’s Jayanti every year.

The Jayanti of Lingayat community’s prominent seer will be observed on March 16 every year, according to a government order issued by the State Kannada and Culture Department on Friday, March 25.

The Akhila Bharata Veerashaiva Mahasabha of Kalaburgi had submitted a demand to the State Government to observe Jagadguru Renukacharya’s Jayanti every year on March 16 on behalf of the government.
