Kundapur, Mar 25: Govinda Saraswati Swamiji of Kishkinda has lambasted people speaking against Sanyasis and Hindu religion. He said that none has the right to speak against Sanyasis and Hindus.

“You do not have the right to even pronounce the word Hindu. If such people become leaders, it will be iniquity. Such leaders should be taught a lesson. The warning is not to Siddaramaih alone but to all the leaders",he warned.

"Their fate will be like the ones of Ravana and Hiranyaksha. You will not be worthy to speak against Hindu saints even if you take rebirth a thousand times. Recite the name of Rama by remaining at home so that your lives are blessed. Your lives will be like those of demons if you say that you will question the Hindu religion", he said.

He further said, "Siddaramaiah speaks against the Hindu religion. He should not make such statements. His work against the Hindu religion is wrong. His behaviour is not right. Do the sanyasis go to colleges to remove the cloth on their heads? Don’t you know the difference between the subject of Sanyasis and the Hijab?” he questioned.

    A leader, whether in power or in opposition, has no right to make this kind of statement. It shows Siddhu has gone bonkers. When in power he declared Tippu Jayanti is worthy to be celebrated, now he is taken an opposite stand against sanyasis. What harm have they done; they are pious people not corrupt like politicians. They have no taste for money or riches.
