Hosapete, Mar 26: After a man who was applying grease to parts of a sugarcane crushing machine that was in operation got sucked by the machine, his skull was separated from the torso instantly.
This tragic incident happened near Nagenahalli in Hosapete taluk of Vijayanagara district on Friday March 25. The deceased was Susheel (40), a native of Uttar Pradesh. Nagesh was working in the sugarcane crushing facility near Nagenahalli when all of a sudden the machine dragged him and cut his body into two within the fraction of a second.
Police personnel of the rural station here visited the spot and took stock of the situation. They are investigating the incident.
