Mangaluru, Mar 26: Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, Kodialbail, and department of Community Medicine Yenepoya Medical College, jointly with Indian Red Cross Society, Mangaluru branch and the local ward corporators had organised a blood donation camp at Primary Health Centre, at Bunder on Saturday March 26.
The chief guest of the camp were C A Shantharam shetty (chairman, Indian red cross), Dr J N Bhat (Medical Officer Red Cross), Zeenath Samshuddhin (corporator ward No 44), Dr Manjayya shetty (Health officer MCC), D M Aslam (president of football association) Dr Poonam R Naik (professor & head community medicine yenepoya medical college) Praveen Kumar (district coordinator, Red Cross) and Bhaskar Aras (senior relations consultant).
The blood donation camp evoked very good response and large number of donors gave blood. All the donors were acknowledged with certificate.
